Though things have been quiet in the past few months, I wanted to let everyone know we're hard at work on a new version of Bloom and sending out a new batch of beta invites. Beta 3 will be released in March. We'll announce it hear on the blog and send out a newsletter.

Beta 3 is going to be a big one in terms of new features and UI improvements, so get excited!

• Dashboard Improvements. We've updated the Dashboard's design in anticipation of some new features. The right sidebar now uses less space, is tightly integrated into the design, demands a little less attention, and provides direct links to new opportunities.

Hello Bloom users! Our senior engineer and co-founder, Kamran, has been hard at work this week on some minor updates to Bloom. Here's a look at what's new:

• Fixed a bug where Fields updates would not update
• Fix to internal links in the new Notes system
• Improvements to the back-end to increase adherence to standards, MVC, and preparation for future updates

Meanwhile, we're hard at work on an update to Bloom and shooting to release it tonight. This Thursday's update includes some minor fixes to the back-end and a cleanup of our code. We then plan to turn back to adding new features to Bloom - some of which we will do a "sneak peek" of in our next newsletter.

We found ourselves frustrated when we went looking for a great tool to share proposals, track leads, and manage a sales team. Every option seemed to have some fatal flaw. One was too expensive and suffered from some "abrasive" customer service; others were open-source and free, but had confusing user interfaces; and still others lived "offline" on the desktop, far away from the Internet. To boil it down to just one word: yuck.

So we asked ourselves, how do you make this thing better? We set out to answer that question, and here's what we found.

We're excited to announce a major new feature to Bloom: Notes. Ever add a new lead but you wanted to say a little more about them? This new feature makes it easy to leave notes in any part of the application, including contacts, opportunities, and proposals.

Notes are threaded like a blog, can have titles (or not), and can be shared with users within the application. You can edit a note at any time or delete it altogether.

We've been working hard on yet another update for Bloom. This is our second update in just two weeks since the launch of our private beta.
